In close collaboration with Zoi, tailored use cases were developed for key departments such as management, marketing, and C-level executives to seamlessly integrate Gemini into daily workflows. At the same time, extensive training programs were launched – not only to equip employees with the skills to use the new tools but also to enhance long-term awareness of the potential of generative AI.
A different kind of side dish: Kärcher employees were introduced to the art of prompting.

From 0 to 134,087 Prompts: Gemini in Action
Around 65% of employees are already actively using the new Gemini solutions – and adoption is rising. Thousands of participants in internal workshops, over 2,000 hours of training and more than 134,000 prompts created show how successful change management is.

Gemini is elevating Kärcher not just technologically but also culturally. By streamlining routine tasks, enhancing data analysis, and offering targeted training, employees can focus more on strategic and creative initiatives.
GEMINI KEY BENEFITS FOR ENTERPRISES
A key component of the rollout was the appointment of Gemini Ambassadors and Gemini Early Adopters – role models who actively supported their colleagues in adopting the technology. These role models, including the Kärcher Executive Board, have played a decisive role in creating acceptance and enthusiasm for the new tools.
Additionally, regular virtual “Gemini Catch-Up Calls” provide employees with practical insights and inspiration for using Gemini in their daily work.

Another success factor: structured implementation. Employees receive a license for Gemini only after completing a mandatory foundational training. This approach ensures that Gemini is used effectively while simultaneously enhancing AI literacy – an important aspect within the framework of the EU AI Act and a driver of future innovation.

More than a decade ago, Kärcher made the strategic decision to fully migrate to the cloud, positioning itself as an industry pioneer. The global rollout of Google Workspace in 2020 laid the groundwork for seamless collaboration and data accessibility. This foundation, combined with a strong partnership with Zoi, has perfectly prepared Kärcher to achieve another major technological milestone with Gemini.

The pilot for Google Gemini launched in mid-September 2024, starting in English-speaking regions with a focus on the United States. The global rollout followed in October 2024 and is expected to be completed by March 2025. Today, 13,000 Everyday AI users work at Kärcher.
